Karmine Corp bids farewell to marteen and Saadhak

Karmine Corp has announced the departures of Martin "marteen" Pátek and Matias "saadhak" Delipetro.

marteen was first brought on to the team as part of their 2024 rebuild after the French organization ended the 2023 EMEA League in last place. The newly formed Karmine Corp roster immediately leapt to the top of the regional standings with the organization's first-ever VCT title, lifting the EMEA Kickoff trophy and earning their first international qualification to Masters Madrid, where they exited 1-2 in the Swiss stage.

While still competitive regionally, Karmine Corp did not return to international competition for the rest of the season. In both instances, they came one placement away from qualifying, finishing fourth in Stage 1 and top-six in Stage 2 and ranking fifth by Championship points.

Going into 2025 with sights set on a prospective home event at Champions Paris, Karmine Corp once again opted for a complete rebuild, changing out four players. Saadhak, best known for his three-year leadership of LOUD that featured a Champions 2022 win and a runner-up finish at LOCK//IN São Paulo, joined the squad as an import from Americas, marking the in-game leader's first stint in EMEA.

Despite their global ambitions, Karmine Corp ultimately did not qualify for any international events in 2025. Throughout the year, they hovered around the top eight in the EMEA standings, exiting early in Kickoff and the playoffs of both Stage 1 and Stage 2. These departures signal yet another retool for Karmine Corp as only two players remain on the team's active roster.

Karmine Corp is currently:

• Hazem "Avez" Khaled
• Dmitry "SUYGETSU" Ilyushin
• Andrey "ENGH" Sholokhov (Head coach)
• Ahmed "ZE1SH" El Sheikh (Coach)
