thinkii set to leave PCIFIC Esports

PCIFIC Esports head coach thinkii announced that the org has allowed him to explore his options for the 2027 season.

"After a tough year where I've learned a lot, I want to keep working and prove myself," he said. "If you're looking to develop upcoming talent and have a long-term project, I'm your man."

thinkii started the year on BBL Esports ' coaching staff, but left following the org's acquisition of the BBL PCIFIC roster that won EMEA Ascension in the offseason prior. Just before the start of the season, he was announced as PCIFIC's assistant coach alongside head coach Leader . Two games and two losses into the 2026 season, thinkii was thrust into the head coach role after Leader took a leave of absence. Once that absence became permanent, thinkii became the team's head coach for the rest of the year. PCIFIC was winless for the year, going 0-17 in all competitions.

Since wrapping up his playing career in 2021, thinkii has been coaching all across Europe. Before landing the BBL assistant coach job midway through last year, he had stops at Arctic , Team Queso , and UCAM Esports Club . This year, he was also named the head coach of the Spanish Esports Nations Cup team.

Since the end of its season, PCIFIC has seen a long list of exits. al0rante , NINJA , and waddle have all been allowed to explore their options, as has assistant coach ZaeS . VCT's Global Contract Database details that every member of PCIFIC's year-end roster has a contract ending this offseason, casting doubt over the org's future in Valorant.

PCIFIC Esports ' full roster is now:

• Mateja "qpert" Mijovic
• Johann "seven" Hernandez
• Koray "Koyo" Arpat (Analyst)
